The code is usually printed on a white label on the side of the battery. The first character of the code indicates the manufacturing plant where the battery was produced. The next two digits represent the year it was made, and the following two digits indicate the month. The remaining five digits represent the day of the year the battery was manufactured. For example, a battery with the seller date code “62609230001” would have been manufactured on the 230th day of 2026 at plant 6.
